Ion and Iurii Family:
Ion is the 77-year-old father of Iurii and became disabled many years ago, as a result of two surgical interventions. After the surgery he became paralyzed. His son, 54, is also disabled and has difficulty moving. They live in a tiny home, but it is clean and they take care of it to the best of their ability. Even though they are both in a difficult situation, they take care of each other. Despite their suffering, LSM staff was greeted with smiles and they were even optimistic. After talking to them for a while, Iurii mentioned that his father always feels cold, especially during the winter months when there isn’t adequate heating in the house. Today, when they saw the truck full of coal and wood, they could not believe their eyes. They had never received such assistance. They said that they are always listening to LSM radio station and enjoy it very much, as well as the “Two arms of ministry” broadcast, but never thought they would get to benefit from LSM’s humanitarian ministry. They were eager to make the fire so that they feel warmth in their home. They were both so grateful for this much-needed help.
