We visited Valentina, a 90-year-old woman who lives alone in a village in northern Moldova. During the visit from Little Samaritan Mission, she opened her heart and shared with us the burden she carries all on her own.Valentina moves with great difficulty, relying on two walking sticks because she does not have crutches. Every step, whether in her yard or inside her home, requires considerable effort. When we asked her how she manages on her own, she sighed deeply and, with great sadness, told us about her 55-year-old son, who suffers from an aggressive form of kidney cancer. Because of his illness, he can no longer walk and can only move around in a wheelchair. His wife takes care of him, and the family is going through an extremely difficult time. Unfortunately, they live far from Valentina and cannot be by her side as often as they would like.As a result, the elderly woman has been left alone, without anyone close to her who could help with her daily needs."I manage as best I can," she told us, sighing with resignation.
You can be confident that you have entrusted these pepper and tomato seedlings into good hands. I will plant them, water them regularly, harvest, preserve, and pickle the produce for the winter. But receiving chickens, along with corn to feed and raise them, is more than we could ever have dreamed of. They will provide a precious source of food during the coming winter.
Sergiu and his family were grateful for the blessings they received through Little Samaritan Mission, which came at just the right time, as his health had worsened during the winter. Several years ago, Sergiu lost both of his legs, but despite his condition, he continued working from home...
Iulius is 90 years old, a widower, and has completely lost his eyesight. He lives with his 65-year-old daughter and son-in-law. His daughter is seriously ill and unable to work, so her husband takes care of both of them. They find comfort and relief from their suffering by listening to Little Samaritan Radio. They pray day and night for this ministry, which means so much to them.
Andrei, an 89-year-old man, has difficulty walking due to health problems, including bone pain and a stomach ulcer. He lives alone after the passing of his wife. He has five children who are also facing financial hardships, and some of them suffer from diabetes. His small pension is barely enough to cover the cost of his medication. He was filled with joy when Little Samaritan Mission visited his home, bringing much-needed gifts and sharing God’s love and care with him.
The Neculai family has four children and is expecting their fifth. They had been caring for an elderly man in their village and living in his home. However, he recently passed away, leaving the family without employment. Nevertheless, they have been allowed to continue living in his house.
Through our radio programs, we bring hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ into homes, cars, institutions, prisons, hospitals, orphanages, and even schools.
