As winter sets in across Europe, we distributed wood, coal, blankets, food items, clothing and shoes to a needy family with 5 children in Northern Moldova.  The father took a loan from the bank to purchase a home and once they did and moved in, he died.  Neighbors say it is because of the worry and stress of trying to pay back the loan while providing for his family.  The mother and grandmother borrowed from relatives and did everything in their power to gather what they could to try and pay back the loan to the bank so they could continue living in the house.  When we visited them, they had none of the basics needed especially during the winter, including blankets, adequate clothing, food staples, etc.   They were overjoyed when they saw Little Samaritan Mission staff delivering these much needed goods. Behind their smiles of gratitude we could still see the pain of the recent loss of their father and spouse.  We also gave them the single frequency solar powered portable radio to be comforted and encouraged by the message of hope and peace in Christ, broadcasted 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.
