Elena is a 40 year old mother living in Chisinau with her 10 year old daughter.
Elena is a 40 year old mother living in Chisinau with her 10 year old daughter. Elena has multiple sclerosis and she is unable to move unless she is in a wheelchair. Her husband abandoned them and they now live in a communal building, in a 75 sq ft room and share the kitchen and bathroom with other families.
The room is very small with one bed, one chair, and a small table made from a plank of wood. We delivered food goods and much needed items such as shoes, socks, school supplies and hygiene items. We also provided them with funds to help with medical costs.
Little Samaritan Mission is an independent and non-profit organization committed to assisting impoverished and underprivileged children and individuals in developing countries in the areas of education, medical relief, sustainable development projects and general humanitarian aid.
