It’s that time of year again. Since 2001, the Little Samaritan Mission has been doing the Face of a Child Project for children in the Republic of Moldova. In less than a month, the 2015 FOACP distribution will begin in orphanages and villages across Moldova. Together with volunteers from the US, LSM staff will deliver the much-awaited FOACP bags containing winter coats, school supplies, and hygiene items to children who have waited an entire year the day the distribution would take place. Updates on the distribution will be posted in late September and throughout the month of October. For the 2016 project the theme is Back to School. Backpacks will be filled with school supplies, hygiene items, a pair of athletic shoes, socks, and hat/gloves/and scarf. (See the Face of a Child page for additional details). Pictures will be available beginning October 1, 2015 but requests may be taken earlier. Thank you to EVERYONE who makes the Face of a Child Project possible and we look forward to your participation for the 2016 Project.
